Nikolay Pechenov, an architect, told correspondent of "Pogromu.net" publication about numerous benefits for habitants of surrounding houses due to the last updates of the building project.

 

- Could your renewed project create additional pressure on the district social infrastructure?

The project originally approved included two buildings. The first - office building with exit way to Naberezhno-Khrestchatytska Street. The second – residential building, central facade of which looking out on Andreevskaya Street. In the new project the second one is office building too. So, pressure on social infrastructure – schools, kindergartens, playgrounds - will not increase. Number of floors is unchanged - 7 floors.

- What innovations do you plan to give pleasure to people?

- We provide for comprehensive improvement of the whole yard, including residential part using money of the customer. A parking space for 8 cars spaces will be opened within the yard; residents of 11th building could use it at night and during weekends. Green place will appear instead of Kyevenergo base, saturated with fuel oil and petrol. Security service and round-the-clock video monitoring will decrease criminogenic activity within the district. We reconstruct the play ground at Bratskaya 4.

- And what about parking space?

We will construct underground parking for 67 car spaces. It means that yards of surrounding houses will not be busy with cars of employees and visitors of the business-center.

- Do you respond to wishes of nearby houses residents?

The first floor of our building will include a pharmacy and saving-bank, bakery and beauty salon according to wishes of residents. People made such decision during public hearings.
